Foam rigid lifejacket Nautilus for adults – Crotch strap addition

Please take note that after several test made on our lifejacket Nautilus for adults has been noted that in very limited situation, this means with people with a particular body conformation as height and physiognomy, may happens that during a jump the lifejacket slip out from the head of the people.

Now in order to avoid this very limited possibility and to have in any case on board an approved lifejacket, in agreement with the Head Quarter of the Italian Coast Guard and the Italian Shipping Register RINA have been made other test that showed that adding to the lifejacket a special crotch strap, said limited problem may be totally eliminated.

So all the Shipping Companies or Mariner that have on board of their vessels or leisure boats this type of lifejacket and that would like to maintain on board the same as lifesaving equipment have to ask care of our Company the foreseen additional kit composed as per the enclosed document.

Cintura di salvataggio Nautilus per adulti – Sottogamba dispositivo accessorio

Si ritiene opportuno segnalare che a seguito di ripetute prove effettuate sul prodotto in oggetto è risultato che in casi limite e cioè con persone aventi una particolare composizione corporea sia per quanto attiene l’altezza sia per quanto attiene la fisionomia può verificarsi in caso di tuffo la fuoriuscita della cintura di salvataggio dalla testa del potenziale naufrago.

Al fine di ovviare a tale inconveniente e rendere di conseguenza sicura la cintura di salvataggio, d’intesa con il Comando Generale della Capitanerie di Porto ed il RINA sono state fatte prove supplementari che hanno evidenziato come l’aggiunta al prodotto qualora già presente a bordo delle unità navali di un idoneo sottogamba di facile inserimento sullo stesso può risolvere in ogni caso tale inconveniente.

Chiunque di conseguenza fosse interessato al mantenimento a bordo della cintura di salvataggio in oggetto, può procedere a completarla con 1 kit integrativo come da illustrazione allegata.

INSTRUCTIONS TO DON THE LIFEJACKET
1) Put the lifejacket over your head through the centre hole. (pic. 1)
2) Close the velcro on the neck, pass the waist black belt behind your back, hook the buckle on the front and tighten strongly. (pic. 2)
3) Fasten and adjust the “red” crotch strap
4) In case of jumping from the bridge hold the floating masses with the hands. (pic.3)
The lifejacket is suitable to be worn with a thermal suit.

ISTRUZIONI PER INDOSSARE LA CINTURA DI SALVATAGGIO
1) Portare la cintura sopra la testa, introdurre la testa nel foro centrale. (fig.1)
2) Chiudere il velcro sul collo, fare passare la cinghia nera girovita dietro la schiena, agganciare la fibbia sul davanti e stringere saldamente. (fig.2)
3) Agganciare e regolare la cinghia “rossa” inguinale
4) In caso di tuffo dal ponte trattenere con Ie mani Ie masse superiori di galleggiamento. (fig. 3)
La cintura può essere indossata sopra la tuta di immersione termica.

HOW TO WEAR / COME INDOSSARE
1) Thread the ribbon between the legs / 1) Passare il nastro tra le gambe.
2) Close the buckle and adjust. / 2) Chiudere la fibbia e regolare il nastro.
